G28928E ~ Deluxe Radar Sensor Assembly
This new Deluxe Radar Sensor Assembly is an updated version of the Radar Assembly we previously sold. This unique device operates in the GHz range and detects human movement through walls, windows, etc., but it also has an optional feature of being able to operate just in the dark with a CDS cell (included). Basic specs: Operating frequency is about 3.18GHz, Sensing distance up to 25ft, Operating voltage 4 to 28VDC, Trigger output 3.3V (+) when motion is detected and 0V (no motion), 3V3 Pin provides regulated 3.3VDC output, and CDS allows CDS cell to be connected (if desired) to allow operation only in darkness. Size 0.7" x 1.5" x 0.11". Note, this device is very sensitive and is subject to false triggering from RF sources such as Wi-Fi, EMF and power supplies. Fascinating to use and experiment with. Package includes (5) 2" long wires with pins that you can solder into the detector and then use to connect to your breadboard (not included); A CDS cell and the Radar Sensor Board. Many articles are available online that show the usage of this Radar Sensor Board with Arduino, however, it can also be used without an Arduino in hundreds of applications.
